1. Silver will tend to tarnish when exposed to certain chemicals. Always clean your gold plated silver jewelry after use. Preferably with soap water and then running water - but just running water is also fine. Takes no more than 2-3 minutes to wash and dry. Then store it in ziplocks to isolate from the atmosphere.
